The Land
The land is triangular in shape, nearly 1,500 feet on a side. We plan to build the house near the center, with an 800-foot driveway. The observatory will be located about 300 feet to the east of the house, and over a rise, so it probably won't be visible from a window.

Here is an aerial photograph showing the general topography, the outline of our land, the other lots, and the subdivision roads. There are 37 lots in the subdivision.
